How to get started with Small and Light

It’s easier than ever to be competitive with your small, low-priced products.
Follow the steps below to get started.

Decide where to sell

A selling account is required for each marketplace where you want to use Small and Light. To expand to other marketplaces, go to the Inventory tab on Seller Central and select Sell Globally.

Add your eligible products

Go to the Small and Light enrollment page to upload a template with your products. (See Enroll your products below.)

Create offers for Small and Light

To learn how, see the FBA Small and Light Help page on Seller Central for the country where you want to sell.

Prepare items to ship

Once your products are enrolled, you can start sending shipments. Each Small and Light market has its own prep-and-packing requirements and specific fulfillment centers.

¹Mixed orders containing items from both order types will be charged fees based on items priced greater than $5.00 and less than or equal to $7.00. Items with a sale price greater than $7.00 will be charged standard FBA fees.

²The packaging weight is the weight of the box and packing materials. In FBA Small and Light, we use a standardized packaging weight of 0.7 oz for every package. In FBA, Amazon uses standardized packaging weights of 2 oz for standard-size media packages and 4 oz for standard-size non-media packages.

Long-term storage fees: To keep program costs low and help you focus on better-performing inventory, the minimum long-term storage fee for Small and Light items is $0.25 per unit.

All selling on Amazon fees and FBA fees apply to the Small and Light program. However, in lieu of the order handling, Pick & Pack, and weight-handling fees that would otherwise apply, the following fulfillment fees apply to eligible items fulfilled through the program. Note that “shipping weight” refers to customer delivery.
