Build International Listings tool FAQ

Simplify managing your
international offers with BIL

BIL now syncs across NA, EU, and JP marketplaces. Use it to quickly expand across regions.

Add offers from:
I don’t want you to sell particular offers in certain marketplaces. How do I exclude them?
You can exclude particular offers from the program at any time. Exclude particular offers within BIL by navigating to the "Manage Exclusions" page (the link is next to the "Manage Connections" link) in Seller Central North America and Seller Central Europe.
What is required to make my existing offer buyable in an additional marketplace? How does BIL help?
To add your existing offer to a new marketplace, you need to complete several steps (e.g. place inventory, check product compliance with applicable laws and regulations). BIL helps with some, but not all of the steps:
STEP 1: Ensure that your products comply with applicable laws and regulations across all marketplaces: BIL does not perform this function
  • To get help with international tax, product compliance, and other regulatory issues, visit Amazon’s Solution Provider Network.
STEP 2: Create the product listing (ASIN) in target marketplace: BIL does not perform this function
  • Product listing (ASIN) already exists
  • Product listing (ASIN) does not currently exist: BIL does not create new ASINs. Create the ASIN yourself, or get help to create it from Amazon’s Solution Provider Network.
STEP 3: Add an offer for an existing ASIN: BIL helps
  • BIL will add the offer from your source to target marketplaces
STEP 4: Set a price for an ASIN: BIL helps
  • BIL will synchronize pricing between the source and target marketplaces based on rules you set.
STEP 5: Place inventory for that target marketplace: BIL does not perform this function
Do I need to do anything myself? Isn’t BIL doing it all for me?
BIL is not a complete global selling service. BIL only offers some of your products that meet certain criteria because it has strict eligibility restrictions. BIL does not (1) create product listing (ASIN) pages, (2) synchronize used offerings when there is a Condition note, (3) place inventory, or (4) check that your products comply with applicable laws and regulations across all marketplaces, which is the seller's responsibility.
Does BIL create product listings (also known as ASIN or detail pages) for me?
No. BIL does not create product listings for you.
Does BIL place inventory between marketplaces for me?
No. BIL does not place inventory between marketplaces. Other Amazon products can help with placing your inventory in order to make an offer buyable, such as Pan-European FBA.
Where do I need to have inventory stored in order to make offers ‘buyable’?
This depends on several factors, including:
  • Is your offer FBA or self-fulfilled?
  • Is the synchronization occurring within North American marketplaces, within European marketplaces, within Japanese marketplaces, or across any of those marketplaces?
The information below shows the inventory storage requirements in each North American and European marketplaces.
