Are you ready to sell?

Consider some essentials before you sign up to sell on Amazon.

I have a product ready to sell

First things first: decide what you’re going to sell and have inventory on hand. In the meantime, you can explore some of our Seller University training and tutorials.

I’ve selected a selling plan

Amazon offers two selling plans: Individual and Professional. Individual costs $0.99 per sale. Professionals pay $39.99 per month. The Professional option makes sense if you’ll sell more than 40 items each month.

I’m ready for approvals

For certain products and categories, Amazon may require additional fees, performance checks, and other qualifications. Some products can’t be listed on Amazon as a matter of legal or regulatory compliance.

I have IDs for all of my products

You’ll need a GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) for each product you sell, such as a UPC, EAN, or GCID. These typically appear as a barcode. If you don’t have one, you may qualify for an exemption.

I have a plan for fulfilling orders

You can ship your own orders, or use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and let us handle shipping, customer service, and returns. Our flexible rate structure makes it easy to be more competitive.
