How it works

1. Create a campaign
When creating an ad campaign, you will need to choose the products you want to advertise, how much you are willing to bid on a click, your budget, and the campaign's duration. We recommend a minimum daily budget of $10 and running your campaign without an end date so shoppers can discover your products any time they search on Amazon.

Select keywords for your ad to target, either manually or using the automatic option available for Sponsored Products. A strong advertising strategy uses both.

For Stores, use our pre-built templates, drag-and-drop tiles, and dynamic widgets to create your customized Store. No website experience needed.

2. Shoppers see your ad
Sponsored Products launch immediately, while Sponsored Brands and Stores undergo a moderation review. Based on relevance and bid, ads are shown to customers with matching search terms in high-visibility placements, like page one of search results and on product detail pages.

When shoppers click on your Sponsored Products ad, they’re taken to your product detail page. Your Sponsored Brands ad will take shoppers to your Store or a custom landing page that displays your products.

3. Measure success
Use reports to see for yourself how your campaigns perform, such as the return you get for each dollar spent and the amount of traffic to your Store. These insights will help you measure performance and optimize.

How much does it cost?

Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands operate on a cost-per-click, auction-based pricing model. You bid the maximum amount that you are willing to pay when a shopper clicks an ad for your product. The more competitive your bid is, the higher the chances that your ad will be displayed when it matches an Amazon shopper’s search.

By default, advertising costs are deducted directly from your seller account balance. You're only charged when your ad receives clicks.

There is no cost to create your Store.
    * Terms and Conditions of the Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands $50 Promotional Credit.

    For Amazon sellers that register for Amazon advertising products (Sponsored Products or Sponsored Brands) through their seller account from October 1st, 2018 through December 31st, 2018 and registers their payment method before January 31st, 2019, Amazon will apply a promotional credit of $50 to that advertiser's account. Promotional credits will automatically be applied upon the advertiser’s registration of their payment method associated to their advertising account. Any unused promotional credit will expire after 90 days from the date the promotion credit is applied.
  • Advertisers must maintain an advertising account in good standing with Amazon, subject to the terms of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement.
  • Advertisers must provide a valid payment method to receive the promotional credit.
  • This offer and the promotional credit are non-transferable, not for resale, and not redeemable for cash.
  • This offer is void where prohibited and in the event of fraud, mistake, or any failure to satisfy any terms of the offer.
  • Amazon reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or modify this offer at any time.
